They need to know how easily they can get people to conform before they decide to really start turning the screws of policy that will really subvert and restrict our liberties.
Haha. I just had this arguement the other day after going to the dentist office. When I get to the office,
I had to show I was wearing a mask through the office door window, before the mask monitor opened the locked door. I then had to fill out a form declaring how I believe myself to be COVID free, but not before mandatorily sanitizing my hands. I was then left to wait in the waiting room that is now a cordoned off bubble, still wearing my mask of course. When it was my turn to go on, I was led to another cordoned off bubble exam room. I was feeling a tad bit snarky, I admit, when I asked the hygienist "how this was going work with me wearing my mask?"
She told me "not to be silly, of course I would have to remove my mask."
To which I just reacted with a deep breathed sign of concern that it was somehow ok that we could now be within less than two meters from each other with one of our faces being unmasked, naked as it were.
What a ridiculous farce.
