This head of a very controversial company, talks of financing, mostly. This science used in medical situations is very limited. The Chinese, wishing to be in the lead, allowed some very disastrous experiments, on babies, using the ideas of changing DNA. No one talks of this any more.
They have had success in changing the genetics for sickle cell. Have not heard about costs. Which is not a good sign, but the success in one disease, has given them renewed Financial Support. There will not be SciFi human experiments. The costs of failure, is no-one insuring the procedures. Not to worry, yet!

This is all truly awesome. But i have to ask: does that automatically make it good? Plastics were the scientific wonder product of the 20th century and have become arguably the greatest pollution of the 21st.
Will the banishing of disease and death really be the great boon to humankind that we are being sold? I suspect that death evolved for a reason. Science is famous for its hubris as well as its genius.

some want to use it to control the masses of people they say if the change your DNA you are no longer human and there for control you as their property.....so you look at it like thousand of us do and see the good....but what about those that don't......
