Previously, I saw this as terribly uncivil behavior and I didn't see much hope for charges. I didn't know about the punching, etc. I certainly hope they face consequences for this!

glad those people are in custody but I have very low expectation for them to be punished. But I have a more important point to make here. ANYONE who brings a child to a political event or "demonstration" is guilty of child abuse IMHO.
Doesn't matter leftist or right - anyone who brings a minor child to such an event also should be arrested and punished - period.
