Jim? Jim Crow? 
According to the Daily Wire article this links to, some offending bird names are:
- Bachman’s sparrow
- McCown’s longspur
- Hammond’s flycatcher
- Bendire’s thrasher
- Townsend’s warbler
Their crimes seem to be mostly to do with being confederates, pro-slavery figures or people who committed atrocities against native Americans.
This seems to be a continuation of the whole statue debacle.
Good grief! Is there no end to this nonsense?
