I think the Democrats no longer care who the president is so long as he stays the hell out of the way. They think they've already won the culture war. All they need in a president is somebody who isn't wanting, willing, or able to "president." The rest is destiny.

I think, if Biden is elected, the Dems keep him around as long as he's useful. And the Left can always make use of that idiot while others rule from the shadows.

Because they don't really want him to be president. They want her to be president, and then they want to select her replacement when she goes to the Oval Office. Joe won't make it a year before he is ousted.

MHO is the President will be remain in office, being nice to a guy who has worked for government all his life, letting him do his last campaign. If the powers put him in office, obviously not for long or kept quiet, the VP would become President. The problem is the pushing the boundaries to see how far an ideology can be pushed and accepted before the limit. 2024 is going to be a fight for legit vote count. Democrats pushing socialism and Republicans being quiet leaves too many questions for the 'Middle Class' to have confidence in government or business. With truth being omitted the students, future voters, are being lied to. The waters are being tested again.
