There will always be rich and poor. Today's problem of wealth redistribution from the many to the few is a function of their power to influence government. We are becoming a world ruled by an oligarchy of wealth. In my opinion the mega-rich are not paying their fair share of the costs of infrastructure and security maintenance. Why is it that we are seeing homeless camps building up across the country? Is it that those residents have suddenly become lazy and refuse to work? Why after WWII one member of the household could support the family but now two people working multiple jobs are barely making it? Has the value of their work deteriorated so much?

Not yet but when it becomes totally fragmented and diversity of opinion/beliefs are at a max it will certainly be there.
