Freedom is proportional to the paranoia, liberties and crime one has, no doubt. But the USA is far from non invasive or free of crime. It's a dangerous hood in many respects. It's not Singapore. It's pretty damn ugly unless you have a white picket fence and 2.2 kids and live in Disneyland. Look at the area's you won't walk. The subways you won't travel. All the globalised and glamourised violence comes from Hollywood. Not saying China is better, or north Korea. No! However it depends what neighborhood you live.

Free in relation to what? We are a relatively free country compared to North Korea or Cuba but we are not free. Just look at the response to the Covid virus. Don’t get me wrong, we are still one of the freest in the world, but the freedoms we enjoy are being taken from us step by step.
