There are bad people in every profession from astrophysicists to zoologists. It is the same with police professionals. A police officer has an extremely stressful public service job. It takes years of training, in fact continuous training, and books of information that they must have in mind for each situation. Plus many are putting their lives on the line every day in a display of courage that puts me to shame. There are going to be bad police officers as there are in every profession. Please do not group all police with a few. They deserve our respect and cooperation.
