In the U.S., Space-X's achievement of returning to space using a privately funded rocket (with all the cool bells and whistles) seemed overshadowed by recent social activity. What an entrepreneurial private business, Space-X, could mean for the future should fill us with wonder, sparking talks about who we could be and what could be next, like flights to orbiting spas and vacations. But that did not happen because mass attention was deliberately focused elsewhere.

The war on information steals a person's fundamental hope and wonder. It combats something thought or perceived by redirecting attention elsewhere to make something else appear accurate. The dubious method is to make people think that someone or something else is stealing their hope and wonder, making it something to fight for. Desperate rational commentators and thinkers send out logos appeals rebuttal after rebuttal, because logic and facts have meaning, right? It is shocking to see that it does not. But that tit-for-tat approach does not work because believing something to be true has power that exceeds intellect. People are not fighting about the actual rhetoric or dogma; they are fighting about belief with zealot-like passion so that the perceived threat does not leave them bereft. People seem to have a need to fight for something.

All right let’s fight. Let us redirect attention toward the hope and wonder that was ingrained as children by pointing attention to those fundamental parts in people. Truth and logos do not have to appear like a counter argument. For example, for every 1 deranged post, redirect it with 100s filled with hope and wonder. For every 1 post filled tearing down monuments, 100s post about the beautiful sea turtles returning to the beaches (with pictures) and how awesome that is and why. For every 1 post is about how terrible one demographic is, 100s post about the plans to build an orbiting vacation satellite (with pictures) asking questions like, “Would you pick a window that faces the earth or space?” For every 1 post about how terrible our leader is, 100s post and repost about how private health companies are investing in and paying for exoskeletons suits and that wheelchair bound people are walking again.

(Que STAR TREK monologue theme)

"Human potential, the final frontier... going where no one has gone before... " Because that's what potential is all about. And it's endless!

Perhaps Elon is exploring the transfer of his "consciousness" to overcome human's relatively short lifespan...

@JamesJPHawkins Better than freezing his head in a jar of liquid Nitrogen I suppose.

It’s because people feel that they can’t look forward to Christmas until the problems have been resolved, but I agree with the spirit of offering more positive energy instead of negative.

Evaluating human impact is something to consider while enjoying the return of logger sea turtles.

"The marine creatures, which find nesting on sandy beaches difficult due to crowds and pollution, are thriving while humans are cooped up indoors. As the northern hemisphere enters spring, sea turtles appear to be nesting in record numbers in countries such as the United States, Costa Rica, Brazil, Thailand and India."

The potential for exoskeleton suits in helping to accommodate mobility for the wheel-chair bound is marvelous. A powered version of the suit could help with yard work, putting up a fence, and other things and now, I want one too.

Would you get a suit?

This is an exciting application of this exoskeleton technology. In time hopefully wheelchairs will become obsolete as the cost of these come down and their capability and variety of uses increase. Do you think these suits could be used in a reverse form providing dynamic resistance to athletes?Potentially improving their strength and balance so once the suit is removed they will be that much stronger without any effort. Similar to breathing trainers that restrict air flow strengthening lung function and increasing capacity.

@GuyB Clever idea.
