I would normally say something like “toppling statues doesn’t erase history”, but I don’t think these idiots care about or even know history. People sharing the same ideology also tore down a statue of George Washington and put a burning American flag on his head, GEORGE WASHINGTON’S HEAD. The commanding general of the Continental Army, you know, the army that won the American Revolution. And now they’re debating taking down Lincoln statues. This is proof they have no idea what they’re doing, but I will say I don’t think this is about statues anymore, I think they’re just trying to cause as much chaos as possible and statues are the magnets right now.
