Oh, please. What would he know about this? The Trump Administration just can't stop politicizing this. No time to politicize. An injustice has been done, accept it, embrace it, do something about it.

The administration is saying they don’t have a legitimate reason to protest????? What media are you watching ??? Everyone says constantly there’s a legitimate reason to protest, and the regular protesters are not the problem! The problem is the agitators and political activists, who are deliberately wreaking havoc, breaking windows, looting, starting fires, etc. Wven the protesters themselves in several instances I’ve seen have tried to stop the bad elements.

So is it the administration saying that or is it the media saying that? Those are two different statements. Where in the article is Barr defending the protesters? That part may have been left out of the article, and for that we can blame the Press. I haven't heard much out of this administration defending the right to protest. You're perfectly free to prove me wrong. Blaming the violence on the left and not acknowleging bubbling over frustrations is not helpful.

A bad cop got caught, arrested and charged. Zero—that’s zero— people in this country think it was anything other than a travesty.

But if you think, once again, that this is a reason to indict all cops and declare it open season on black men, you are lying. Look at the statistics. I know facts can be annoying and inconvenient when you have such a compelling narrative to push, they’re also stubborn things.

I said nothing about indicting all cops or open season on black men. I simply think this was bad judgement on the part of the Trump Administration. That's all, nothing more.

@TyKC
And what part of the Trump administration do you ascribe to good judgment?

@Edgework I don't ascribe judgment to parts. There is good judgment and bad judgement. Sometimes the judgment is good, sometimes bad. It depends on the situation.

They are investigating and the federal
Government has no more role than that. Murder is a state issue, period.

Yes, but the FBI is investigating as a civil rights issue. It was pretty clear the guy's civil rights were violated. The Feds can force changes in the makeup of local police departments.

How is the administration politicizing this?

By sending the message to the protestors that they don't really have a legitimate reason to protest, but are being led around by the nose. I don't think the protestors are going to like hearing that, particularly, from this Administration. It will likely make things worse. But that's the forte for this Administration, making things worse. That's what they're good at.
