Dr. Martin's testimony WILL stand up in the World Court. I believe he will work along side of Riener Fuellmich (German attorney) and other attorneys and experts from around the world. Those actually responsible for all of this are in fact Americans for the most part and I suspect they do not "own" the World court. @DMcCreery1956 The new one is supposed to arrive tomorrow :) As we will be using two generators, by-passing the grid won't be an issue. Storing enough gas might well become our worry. Water is generally not an issue because we have two year round streams on the property, one quite close to the house. Winter, and freezing pipes is the biggest issue with not powering movement.

@eschatologyguy We listened to City Preppers video on how to calculate for each thing in our home and copied his chart and are preparing our own version of it. Pellet stove for heat has electric control requirements, there is also water pump from well, uv purifier, hot water heater (believe me cold showers at 10 below would not be pleasant), freezer, fridge, propane stove with only oven that is electric, TV and DVR, 2 computers and coffee maker. Some would only be used in alternate amounts and times. We're figuring 2 generators, one large and one smaller to run water issues. Knowing all these figures will help us plan for purchases. For some reason I suspect we could be looking at weeks this time. Lights we're not worried about. Various forms of candles will certainly cover that.

Buying a new freezer, this time we'll put it in a different area so we can back it up easily with a generator. Where the old one is is too far for generator back up. We are looking into a new one. Sadly the size we need is not available anywhere around us. The darn thing is 21.3 cu ft is PACKED full and I mean full of meets we've been collecting for the last 7 or 8 months, quite a bit every week. We cannot afford to loose that. We're currently checking into replacing it or buying and having it shipped quite a distance. Roughly a grand or so before we are done, but the meats are well over that price. We bought it used 7 years ago. From what I'm reading its probably more than served its time.

@DMcCreery1956 I knew about lemonade from staghorn sumac. I'll have to look into more uses for the rest of these bush/trees. We have a lot of those. We were lucky for several years using and harvesting mullein. Sadly none grew this year. We will actually alter paths around them when we do get them. We let a great deal of our property stay wild. Too much grass, and the accompanying cutting, but we have to pretend to be somewhat civilized LOL. No sense pissing of the neighbors and encouraging ratters in these times, although we have one real B*TCH who may well get a mouse infestation if my hubby has anything to do with it LMAO.

Very true, and many of them don't give enough different stage pics. I know of several on my property that are edible but always looking for more. What I've seen of this information they rarely tell you they are bitter and better ways to prepare them, although I have a connection with one woman on FB who also dries them and crumples them into stews and things where you wouldn't really taste them but would add excellent nutrition. A very time consuming pass time that is worthy of investigation. Thanks for your comments and direction. Much appreciated.

As to the kind-hearted handyman I'll pray for one as they are few and far between. Our creek is about 30 feet from our home but not visible from the street. @eschatologyguy Fiddle Heads are very popular to some here, especially on the East Coast. Glad to hear you still have the old ways to keep you going. A population with options is a lot harder to control. We are now at least 3 generations from a time when electricity was not a main stay. So much depends on electricity that alternative ways of living without it are pretty rare. We get long bitter winters, but we heat our home with a pellet stove and use a propane fireplace for emergency back up. I have in the past relied on a wood stove and actually loved cooking with a huge wood fired stove. I already purchased all the pellets we need for the better part of this winter, and recently filled the propane tank. We should be good til Spring. If for some reason those two sources become unavailable we would not easily be able to use another source. Shortly we'll purchase a generator. Most winters we loose power for about a day but I'm concerned this year could be worse because of the way they are f'ng with everyone. No electricity for days on end would put all our frozen food at risk... a couple of very large freezers store all our meats for the coming tribulations. I suspect we could generate our own power as we always have wind to varying degrees. We also have a deep fast flowing creek near the house that never freezes over and could well generate power with a trubo prop... the main concern for use is how to collect, convert and store that power. The problem is neither of us knows how to do that and we have no idea of the cost. Our budget is tight but we manage. I'm retired but hubby's job will soon be at high risk over the vaccines. Not sure we could afford all the necessary parts to actually generate our own energy. I really want to learn a lot more on how to manage the way pioneers did. Options... its all about options. I've always believed there are 101 ways to skin a cat. I'd just really like to learn more.

I also note classic insulation for long term homeless is newsprint... either layered or lightly bunched to create the air pockets. Used newsprint is invaluable and readily available. Also good for lining shoes or bunched and stuffed into armpits, etc. Learning something about wild edibles is also very beneficial and often provides excellent nutrition or can be added to that chicken and rice for nutritive punch. It does take time to learn the many sources but rural or city they are available, you just have to look for untreated materials or low exposure to heavy road traffic.

No one chooses to live with depression. For the most part I just carry on, but the cheerful ones, particularly those who HAVE to try to cheer you are beyond annoying. As to crying, I may cry once or twice a year for several minutes. That's about it. And that is strictly tears, no weeping and whaling for me. That "never crying" started after I lost my younger brother over 30 years ago. Life is cruel. I just suck it up and figure out the next step within my power.
