Nolte: Dr. Fauci Is Either a Liar or a Fraud
coalburned comments on Jun 8, 2020:
I've pulled up short of calling him a fraud or liar because I'm no scientist, but I've believed all along Fauci was misleading us. Like millions of others, I've sensed something was amiss with the pandemic narrative since day one. I still don't know what the underlying reasons are, but I know we've all been played by the media, elected officials, and most embarrasingly, celebrity "experts".
It's simple, everyone!

If Black Lives actually Matter, defunding the police is the last thing they should want. When you look at black-on-black crime, one can only imagine how bad it would be if there was limited law enforcement. Education and restoration of the family unit are critical needs in the black community. Of course, the Left doesn't want that because they then lose control of a sizable voting bloc.
The last I heard Jordan was recovering from an illness. Has anyone heard anything more recent?
coalburned comments on Jun 7, 2020:
There are a few articles out there that discuss what Jordan has been dealing with. I would caution against reading too much into them, but his daughter confirmed that it has been quite a struggle. I'm sure his detractors will try to discredit him because of it, but I actually admire him more for doing something to address a serious problem. Very Jordan-like.

They'll continue to do whatever they please, knowing there's little we can do about it other than switch to Apple products, which would create an even bigger problem. Even so, we would still rely heavily on Google services like YouTube and Waze.

It seems any time society tolerates a void (e.g. fatherless families), the world has a way of filling it with garbage. I like JP for the simple reason he's breathing new life into old school values. coalburned comments on Jun 1, 2020:
Absolutely. As I just posted in another thread, intentionality is so important. Showing up every day, putting forth the effort, letting your partner know you're all in. And you're right, it's hard to do when you're dealing with ton of other stuff. I think that's why more and more people are embracing minimalism, or at least a modified form of it. Shedding the excess in your life, from possessions to relationships to whatever adds stress to your life, can be very freeing and gives you time to focus on what matters most.
What is the "thing" that keeps relationships going for decades?
coalburned comments on Jun 1, 2020:
Comittment, although that alone doesn't make for a GOOD relationship, only a long one. The secret to a great relationship, I believe, is to understand that women need to feel loved and men need to feel respected. Most know they are loved by your caring actions and kindness, but that doesn't make them FEEL loved. Men need to feel respected. That's not something we can command or demand. It has to be given. So, I guess there isn't one thing that keeps couples together for decades, although I think most couples could tell you the one thing unique to their relationship that was a major factor.

The preliminary report only rules out strangulation (which obviously didn't happen) and traumatic asphyxia (which involves severe compression of the cavity...again, doesn't appear applicable in this case). The "findings" are pretty meaningless imo, and it seems there was no point in releasing them. Expert medical pros are going to have a field day debating the cause of death when this goes to trial. Even if George Floyd was in A+ condition, a guy's knee on the carotid artery for 8 minutes while being pinned to the ground and unable to take full breaths can't be a good thing.
