I am one of the original members of The Gay Liberation Front, Radicalesbians. I planned and marched in the 1st Gay Pride March, the Lavender Menace Action and proudly marched with the GLF as one of the Grand Marshals of the International Gay Pride March in 20. My paintings are in the collection of The Leslie Lohman Museum and I was included in the Art After Stonewall exhibit which opened in NYC in 20, Miami and Columbus, Ohio 2020.
I am a HUGE fan of Arielle Scarcella because she upholds all the ideals I marched for, was arrested, beaten and risked my life to fight for in the 70’s and beyond. I also believe that misogyny has taken over and shamed what was once a proud, supportive and “free to be me” lesbian tribe.
