They'll either take over (with paid trolls like the 50cent army or the obnoxious one's that do it for free) or destroy each and every company (buy hacking or financially strangelling) they can untill they have a centralised government of their own ruling the net. Some countries are pushing back, we'll probably have parallel webs in the future, rather than a world wide one.

I think a lot of these leaders are just virtue signalling to their own public (while secretly supporting big tech in it's aide of the globalists). Unless they plan on taking steps like Poland did (fining companies for censorship), they are just empty, disingenuous words.

The media have done a wonderful job of panicking people, to the point there are many people in society who are paranoid and irrational, willing to give up their freedom for 'safety'. Any questioning of the narrative is ridiculed as conspiracy. Covid is being used opportunistically by politicians and governments to seize power, but its the media who are making it possible.

You may be missing the point, many Trump supporters are the kind that were sick of 'the swamp' (both Republican and Democrat). He may have been flawed and made plenty of mistakes, but this was the common (i.e not part of the elite) persons representative. Many voted/supported Trump because they were over, and saw through, the blame game. He represented the push back against the globalists from all classes. Trump supporters have to be the most diverse group I've ever seen in politics

Free speech may not be dead (yet) but it is getting penned in. When you censor one side and allow free reign to the other, you are strangling free speech. When you actively try and silence once side, and prop up the other, you're strangling free speech. Free speech is about letting each side present their argument, not saying one side can speak and the other needs to be silenced. Dictatorships always censor, and the censorship is getting worse, in aide of one side of government. We have all seen how biased the media is, the big tech companies are trying to pull the internet in the same direction.

I've known a few that started off stripping and predictably ended up prostituting. Most had some history of abuse, or spiralled down that path from drug use, or were just severely depressed and had no sense of worth. All of them used to get a vacant, distant stare to them, like they were dead inside already. Its very sad watching people down that path... Whilst I don't have a problem with it morally, I could never contribute to the damage it does to the person, by using their 'services'. I know some can seperate emotion from sex, and are unaffected in that regard. Still, it ends up giving them a warped sense of healthy relationships.
