We actually have the opposite in place. Congress is privileged from being arrested for their actions on the floor of Congress. The remedy for a dishonest politician is obvious. Any attempt to shelter the voter from their foolish decisions often leads to a worse solution.

You interpret that Britons being tolerant means they are weak. That's fine. We simply agree to disagree. You made me deviate from the topic. Anyway, what is it about the UK you think you can see so clearly from California that I can't see within the society I'm fully integrated in?
