Hey guys!

I'm going to be using Slug a lot more from here. Keeping up with a bunch of platforms can be really hard, but I know that nobody is going to be deleted or censored here, and that's really important to me. I'm keen to have this community be a neat sharing space.

I don't know about the rest of you, but with what's going on in the world, I've finally hit a wall on my tolerance for the radical left.

I know I disappeared for a month there on YouTube, but it's mainly because I moved to Texas. (Hello other Texans, thanks for adopting me!)

I uploaded a new video today that is 100% how I'm feeling right now. Take a look. And let's discuss how tf to get on top of what's going on in the world. Because your girl is sick of this. And, I expect a lot of you are too.

Oh, Sydney... you're sounding like a slightly more conservative, female, half Australian (instead of half Korean) version of Tim Pool!

You are absolutely right about the lack of good conservative politicians these days. They come up occasionally, and when they do we absolutely have to jump on board and support them. At other times, we just need to support the least bad option.

I think conservatives look at leftist infighting and think we can just sit back and watch them destroy themselves. Left to themselves, they eventually will destroy themselves, but we might not still be around to enjoy it, and while we are still around it just gets more and more hellish!

I'm not ready to give up yet! We may not feel like we have much power, and some of us don't have your courage, but this can still be turned around if we all do whatever we can with as much courage as each of us can muster. They have power... If we have unity, creativity, courage and integrity, we can win this culture war!

I'm pretty sure it takes around two generations for Texans to adopt anyone, but I have no doubt that with your charm you'll be in in one (smile)!

Woe to the many nations that rage—
they rage like the raging sea!
Woe to the peoples who roar—
they roar like the roaring of great waters!
Although the peoples roar like the roar of surging waters,
when he rebukes them they flee far away,
driven before the wind like chaff on the hills,
like tumbleweed before a gale.
In the evening, sudden terror!
Before the morning, they are gone!
This is the portion of those who loot us,
the lot of those who plunder us.
Isaiah 17:12-4 (NIV)

It’s growing slowly here but it’s growing. and i’m getting more and more tired of youtube’s censorship as time goes by.

It sucks so much. It's strange how information has been turned into a weapon. Pretty depressing tbh.

Hi Sydney
Thank you for telling me about Slug. I too have become very disgusted with my Republican party. I am completely fed up watching my white history being rewritten with boldfaced lies. Statures of my childhood heroes be toppled over like white trash. You have a lot of fans on here.
ps I lived in Clute Texas once. Close?

Yep - sold out by the people who should be representing their voters. Grosses me out.

Clute isn't near me! Looks like it's many hours away 🙂

thanks for answering back Sydney. That ment a lot to me. I will promote you as much as I can. You're the voice of truth.

Honestly, it's especially hard for conservatives to speak up because a lot of them are more willing to be friends with leftists than leftists are to be friends with conservative. Once you bring up your beliefs, you not only lose people you can debate with or even come up with a reasonable solution with, but you also lose your friends. This is especially true on college campuses.

(The rest of this is just going to be me stating my own experience, so y'all don't have to read if you don't want to.)

Honestly, even if I'm going to stand up, I'm not sure I can recover from losing my friends like that, even though I know something has to change. I'm scared. I have to go back to the twin cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN) this August for schooling, I will be rooming with a person who directly supports outright terrorist groups like BLM, and I will be hesitant to say anything just so I can avoid confrontation and friction with my other roommates.

I do have a few lifelines, but in the end I'm not even sure how useful I can be to them when they're in the same situation as I am.

Couldn’t agree more. What’s that quote? “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.”

That’s exactly where we are right now. The biggest issue is a lot of Americans that “don’t see it happening” live in an echo chamber for their own ideology and as you said, when it gets to their doorstep it’ll be too late.

I don’t know if it’s too personal to ask, @SydneyWatson, but where in Texas did you move?

I moved to Fort Worth!

@SydneyWatson oh, no kidding? That’s awesome! The DFW area is great. My wife and I live in south west Oklahoma about 3-3 1/2 hours from there. I know social distancing and all that, but one day when we return to the real normal, I’d love to shake your hand. We are both huge fans and can’t tell you enough how much we appreciate your work. Keep it up!

The problem is Americans have become sedated in their safety in the last half century, and fell into the "that will never happen here" trap that has befallen so many other governments and civilizations throughout the centuries.
Once you get familiar and confident is when bad things happen.

Great to have you back Sydney. Really enjoy your content and value your opinions. You do great work in providing context and research to the current political movements. I hope Texas treats you well, keep doing what you're doing.

Youre not alone in feeling this way, I just don't know what to do besides vote... but even then I live in a blue state and it feels like my vote doesn't matter

I can tell you that is what the blue states is depending on, for you and others not to vote, get out there and vote.
If only 20 people from your state actually voted, 11 voted for blue and 9 voted for red that will mean blue got 55% of the vote and red got 45%, one more vote can split the vote and 2 can give it to red.
Here is the point I'm trying to make, your vote just might be that one vote that put red to 50.01%.
Get out the vote for those politicians that will work toward putting America first and protecting it.

Hi Sydney

Nice to see you here. Be aware however that a group moderator/host can block you from the group on a whim and their is no appeal procedure or scrutiny of their actions This happened to me, and when I posted about it, I got a post from someone else to whom this happened.

N.B. I broke none of the posting guidelines.

Do you mean here on Slug?

@SydneyWatson Yes, here on Slug. I am having a conversation with admin over this but nothing , as far as I can see, has been done about it yet.

I love your video postings.

I'm where you are, right with you. I'm tired of it all as well, and when you curse at all, I know you're upset about it. The Republicans need to grow a damned spine, I concur, and sadly? I'm one of those who feels as though he has to keep his mouth shut because I'm a white man who lives by himself and needs to keep a roof over his head. I'm in Dallas, and Texas welcomes you nonetheless, dear!

Bro, I feel. I have been in college for 2 years now and I have never felt more targeted and gross for being white or/and male. Its almost in every class by the teachers and the students and I have to keep my mouth shut... I am against discrimination of every kind but it felt like I was alone in this till I found Sydneys channel.

@Atlas_Gold If you can try transferring to a North Western PA college, they are more lenient and many that go there are from both sides.
Sadly, this is why so many white males are not going to college because they are afraid.
If they have the course you want, check out wgu.edu
Good luck

I'm really sorry to hear that you feel that way too. And yep, if I'm swearing in a video, you know I'm cranky haha!

I don't know what the solution is and I've been talking with friends since I uploaded that video, trying to work out what we can do to push back. A good friend said we're always on the DEFENSE, when, really, we should be on the OFFENSE. But it's all easier said than done and I'm simply not sure where everyone can start besides taking a stand in their personal lives.

@SydneyWatson sputters SEMPAI NOTICED ME! faints

OK, kidding aside! True, the best one can do is begin in one's personal life. Then maybe take it from there? Or as a song I'm partial to says, "If ever I would stop thinking about music and politics, I would tell you that the personal revolution is far more difficult, and is the first step in any revolution." I've been living those lines for some time now.

Well now, that's the million dollar question isn't it ? How to elect an official that doesn't immediately get drunk with power and dive face first into the nearest pit of corruption ? How do you defeat a cheater without cheating ? I dunno about other folks, but I haven't heard of a solution that I personally feel is viable. this is why you hear the talk about red pockets being fine. a prevailing Texas attitude is let people do what they want but if you bring that shit here there's gonna be problems. until we come up with a working model of the pro active persuasion, and get others on board, best we can hope for is your neighbors backing your play when the outside tries to come in. I was asking the folks around me if any of them would be down when these jackasses started threatening the alamo. i was disappointed. I'm not one of these passive, violence is the last resort types, but priority one needs to be save your resources for doing the thing that will work.

so whats going to work ?

something big has to happen. Unfortunately its only common for older people to be more Conservative and until they come for our Bill of Rights I don't really know if we'll see much pushback from the right or substantial change

2

I hate to see it but I am not optimistic for our future.

Me either. I think we conservatives, and white males especially, have lost the battle. Nobody wants to admit defeat but our party, republican, isn't putting up any kind of fight. Something most of us don't realize is that we have lost the power of the pen.
We can fight as best we can but we'll never be free again. All we can do is sit back and watch as white western history is rewritten. Not in favor of European heroes.

Great to see you Sydney.
