At this point, until and if things improve, I can't see any option other than the police ceding the inner cities to the blacks. The police are unable to do their job in the inner cities and those who live there don't appreciate the police risking their lives in an attempt to make the place inhabitable.
Let the jungle be the jungle and have the police expend their energies by preventing the spread of the jungle to the suburbs.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I don’t really care for police (I believe they inadvertently protect criminals) or rioters/BLM but police are the lesser of two evils. Might be easier for the police to stay out of the city, but my concern is they will go to the suburbs and grab people for going 1 mph Over the speed limit or other trivial offenses. Gotta raise the revenue.
Either way, might as well stay the heck out of the city, first and foremost.

The police are the lesser of two evils by a very, very wide margin. Pay attention to where the murder rate goes in the months ahead and you'll get an idea of how wide the margin is.
I believe it was NYC where there were certain parts of the city that the police were not answering calls.

In the larger inner cities the police have no choice but to ignore calls, at this point. The Ferguson effect is in the process of going nationwide.
@sacha799 Baltimore did this too and their homicide rate skyrocketed after the freddie gray protests.

Baltimore recorded 43 homicides in the month of May, the second deadliest month on record and the worst since December 1971 when 44 homicides were recorded. There have also been more than 100 non-fatal shootings in May 2015.[148] Police commissioner Anthony Batts blames looted drugs, stolen from 27 pharmacies and two methadone clinics, as well as street distribution and turf wars for the spike in crime.[149][150]
The increase in shootings has occurred along with a 50% decline in arrests since the charging of six officers in Gray's death in custody.[151] The heavy police presence in crime-ridden neighborhoods is no longer apparent with one resident stating, "Before it was over-policing. Now there's no police."[151] One officer speaking anonymously stated, "After the protests, it seems like the citizens would appreciate a lack of police presence, and that's exactly what they're getting."[152] Batts stated that his officers are "not holding back" despite encountering hostility in the Western District whenever they make an arrest with "30 to 50 people surrounding them at any time;"[151] he also stated that his officers feel "confused and unsupported" in the wake of the charges. The president of the police union said his members are "afraid of going to jail for doing their jobs properly."[152]
According to The New York Times, looting from 27 drugstores resulted in an increase in black market access to opiates.
