I wonder how much attention the Cultural Revolution gets in American schools. My guess is very little. People can't learn from the parallels if they can't see them. (And I shudder to imagine how knowledge of the Cultural Revolution could give antiwhites bad ideas.)

The Cultural Revolution came up at my school in Hawaii which had mandatory Chinese history. At the time I was a Leftist and I thought the Red Guards were really cool (!). But I was immature and ignorant decades ago, and now that I see the Cultural Revolution happening in America, I'm terrified. Because I know the new Red Guards will come after me.

@AMRX The Chinese/Asian Americans are terrified too. We've all been talking about the "American Cultural Revolution' the last few weeks. I work at a woke organization with a lot of SJWs (unfortunately, the majority of whom are whites themselves). The tricks they use are very similar to the Red Guards: labeling, slogans, censoring different voices, virtual signaling to pledge their loyalty to wokeness party, etc. I saw this coming a few years ago and that's why I joined this site. Last month I read an article written by a Chinese man who was a teenager during the Cultural Revolution. One night after family dinner, the teenager started reciting quotes from Mao's Little Red Book. His mom pointed out that one quote was actually originally from another author. The teenager thought this was an insult to the Great Leader Mao and had an argument with her. His mom refused to back from the statement the quote was from another author. The teenager and his dad wrote a letter to report their mother and wife on that evening, and the next day, the mother was labelled "counter revolutionary" and shot to death in front of thousands of people including her son and husband. The teenager became a local "hero"...He's a senior now and repents every day what he did to his mom...I've been trying to warn Americans but I'm not sure how many will understand. To some, a revolution is always good, especially if they haven been brainwashed to believe this is a racist country. My woke organization has given us a recommended reading list which, other than the "White Fragility" and "Let's Talk About Race" etc, has interestingly included Sun Tze's "The Art of War". Do BLM really want a war if their demands are not met? Is that what "No Justice, No Peace" is about? I on the other hand also shudder at the thought BLM might get ideas from the Chinese and Soviet Union revolutions. I hope what we've witnessed in the last few weeks have been or will be red-pilling moments for most people.
