I wonder if they're lying about no new cases in order to engineer social calm. Perhaps it's easier to say the virus is gone rather than the nuanced position of "the virus is still here, but it's not especially dangerous."

Tuberculosis and MRSA are still among us.
No deaths and few or no cases requiring hospital care should be good enough IMHO. Being Communists they probably are exaggerating.

Besides the 2019 Chinese rover Yutu-2, the only artificial objects on the Moon that are still in use are the retroreflectors for the lunar laser ranging experiments left there by the Apollo 11, 14, and 15 astronauts, and by the Soviet Union's Lunokhod 1 and Lunokhod 2 missions.
