What keeps the Christian faiths divided?

Is it leadership? Independent criteria? Is it refusal to have responsibility for the issues that separate neighbors? Is it judgement on grounds of scripture or personal lifestyles?

Is the denominations of Christianity even a dividing issue amoung those of the religion? Ex: Do Protestants and catholics have a love for Our Holy Father and Jesus Our Spiritual Reigning King of Heaven?

Where’s the devil in the details and where’s God of the Big Picture?

How would a church of Christ look United, in full reverence of Our Holy Father, and caring for another as Jesus prescribes change humanity and it’s progress into our future?

So, I would answer the OP with a standard. If the Christian community was able to achieve the standard of the spirit of holiness as described by the New Testament, there would be a revival in every area of culture.

I originally appreciated the intellectualism pursuit of the atheist/agnostic, as it challenges the perceived standard of cognitive scope. However the exposure of the feebleness of modern churched representatives highlights the public campaigns inability at times to orate the conclusiveness of theology to an entrenched skeptic, often times in mass via online forum, or even independently in audience and auditorium, set me back seeing the failings of both sides honesty, hiding colossal ideas behind rhetoric manipulation or a wave of vengeance manipulation.

It was informative, to think a topic with so much importance to humanity as abused. I say again, abused.

I thought that atheist were goading to find the character of Christians more so than an educated discussion, but by and large, the mockery is condescending bigotry, which is a poison to the honest common cause of truth. And much worse the impossible mutual standard of both is bitter. As if the aim is to be supremely believed, rather than provoke awareness. To wit, atheist are unwilling to address the mess of bias skepticism, and theologians inability to acknowledge curated examinations of doctrine and observation. due to I presume a personal indebtedness to a personal narrative, the “I’m right and you’re right too if you agree, and THEN we can be allies”

The worst is the blind allegiances to PERSONAL experience.

How can humanity grow successfully together when the minds of our children are left as collateral in this most most most important issue.

Is it not wrong to say both sides toxicity has wounded society to the point of polarized fanatics incapable of learning?

I believe in a more harmonious practice of experience.
If you can’t demonstrate the nuance, then research ones inability. Then, change is possible.

Ex: why does one point out the sin of another, even someone who hasn’t accepted sin, when the fault of hate lies inward towards the failings of another to ones own standard. Should Christianity worry about the homosexuals sexual appetite who isn’t even Christian. I am assured that when we point out others fault, there are the ambivalent, the unaffected, and the guilty; yet guilty only comes from innate awareness of upsetting the moral integrity of the responsibility to morality. To do good because it is good to do. Sex is a hard line to consider if one wants it themselves, but it’s easy to consider when the fallout is put into perspective.

What’s important is demonstrating how to do a thing correctly, let incorrectness be made aware, but to leave protesting to the judges, because the final word of the matter is the supreme judge, and if Jesus’s Spiritual Father by this verdict pass, then truth and justice will be made clear. If mercy in ruin or loves name is requested, then with oath may it be, even more so when one who receives, also would give. one may hope, and to an end, Happily evermore.

The thing that keeps faiths of religions separated. It's, nothing to do at all with any f that what you said, it's not the people that matter in asking why this doesn't happen, maybe it would if it did, but it doesn't and they don't, what makes them different from each other is literally the aspect nature of the characteristics and fundamental being of faith in whichever one religion to choose to inspect just to see why it's different from any of the other religions, that's all it is, it's really just that right there, no other reason than that right there, and it's not like that's hard to understand it shouldn't be, if you either know much or nothing at all about religions it still shouldn't matter because if you think it's this that's really all that so all that hard to understand, then, you should not be the one just to be the one asking just why these all these religions just happen to be all different than one another too, God isn't in the religions, the religions exist to be religions on their own because it's the utensil to facilitate the fellowship which is the believing and having faith of any God that humans need to have just to know what they themselves believe believing their one religion they happen to believe in. What else could it be?

I mean, not that it matter about what people believe and what they believe, but, it's not even like that would even matter considering that there really are just different people also believing different religions than what any one of them can possibly ever imagine what anyone else would might believe in that other religion, and it is like, you can't compare the faith of say a pentecostal to that of the faith of a Catholic for example, there is no reason, that's what religion is it defies all human and is beyond all human reason but it still exists to be religion which stands alone, same with the people that believe in those religions to if you were just to be is who is are to ask them just why they believe in this and not that religion, no reason, literally no reason at all, the only reason there is here, is, that the people of believing in Pentecostal religion do have on their own very different reasons as a matter of fact just for believing in what they chose wanting to believe in, than that of another person of the believing in catholic religion, and if you did try asking them, the Catholic and not the pentecostal, then I promise you what they are all or both really ever going to tell you is simply just saying the very same thing as that of the other person, so the reason must not lie at all within that of the people of the separate other or any of the religions at all, the real reason, is in them it's simply just within in those religions of those them people's who believing and having faith have been believing, and like it's not like I can't give you examples I can but I can't, they are different religions, there is no distinguish between them in which in order to speak of at all, the reasons therefore must be actually that all of these religions are different not either because one is good and one is bad no it's like this it's because they are all different because they are religions, if there was just that one religion or faith to have being of believing in, then no one not any of us humans would believe in that one religion and then it wouldn't be a religion even at all then, why, because no humans would need a reason to follow that religion, since, no one can then possibly ever know why to or not to believe anything else or actually any other religions at all, and no religion being called a real religion that is religion at all in this world ever just is a religions and doesn't really just have to believe this one religion right here and not that other religion that you a human could also be believing in, the answer is that all religions are different because they needed to be just in oder to get people who would believe in them to believe in them for them to be real religions, that is what religion, you hear that, that's what, I hope you hear that right, religion is, if you really needed a better reason to believe this or something different now, then, think of this now, then there won't ever be a real reason for you to believe this if that what you thought, that there must have possibly even possibly been any at all real reason why all of the religions were different than one another to each other, and if that's the case, then, logically, what reason do you would you a human ever have just to possibly believe in anything if all that you're ever gonna keep on asking is why are things the way they are about religion if things to you are not what you think that you can be the one to ever believe in yourself, I mean, if that's anything like hard to understand or comprehend, then, just think of imagining for that matter what them people the ones of those who do believe in religions that are really real are religions in this world too, because if this was hard for a mere human asking wanting to know it being, then you don't even want to be the one to know what those people about to be the one to tell you what they're going to and will be telling you, and that, is why people, need, religion, right there.

@JaclynGlenn

Hi casey, Hope you're doing well.

@maxmaccc how can I say this, the path I'm on, I don't know how really to say this and it's just lets just say I couldn't complain so much getting to on this path, if that this path didn't have so many begotten God dang speed bumps, so you know.

If you join a church, you must agree to the belief of the congregation and not
the bible. This is why churches are called denominations because they
have a partial truth which differs from ⛪ to church.
The Word ⛪ is not a correct translation of eklesia . When the correct term is
used, then there is no confusion. One belief for all who are called to know Christ.

Then worded accordingly, you join a denomination to have the personal comfort of having a group sharing ideas on Christianity, yet if taken to the initial literal sense of Christology, when one concludes within themselves the idea Yeshua/Jesus is the Son of God who is able to restore ones spirit to the Father, thus making the soul and body united in spirituality this being a member of the “Body”, aka church, of Christ. Where as one may say anything one may imagine, the honesty of any claim is discernible only by an awareness that could understand the truth of the wordless consciousness feelings of a human being.

There is an implied importance in defining the process of this spiritual revolution. Also, with the great distances and differing regions and unique characters that formulate the structure of histories Christian organization, modern man has global communication and research databanks like no society of the past could ever dream to achieve. Now the issues of human affairs is at a keyboards distance to informed ideas, thus exposing issues never able to be compared before except by a field expert perhaps.

So now we all sound very well informed, but lack the personal experience that developed these niches. Ex: you can read about churches, but you don’t experience the personal effects of a congregation until you partake of the spirit of the group. Like I can eat a burrito, but I do t know the context of the culture that produces it. Can you describe what it would be like to have a responsible dad to a life long orphan?

Perhaps this is the idea behind Christology, is the spiritual adoption of the will to submission of servitude that is the base claim of selflessness, with esoteric definition that you feel it as you go. In place of an isolated experience of seemingly self important life, you find your spirituality accepting all creation as an inheritance and an investment for reverence to win over our mortality despair of self meaning vs self desires.

REligions of the earth are mostly for a moral standing. Look at us, as you lose your foundations, you lose your country and the left has known that for a long time.

To argue this idea I can illustrate two paths, one is a biblical view, another scientifically based.

One, mans struggle with the definitive purpose of his actions; the idea of self benefitting or selfless charity on grounds of inner desire of holy righteousness, aka mercy, vs mundane motives for an experience/expression, aka justice. We often have benevolent ideas and yet can act out atrocities to achieve our aims. Ex: raise my family, so kill others who are a threat. Etc..

The other way is that through experiencing the effects of humanity, for all it horrific acts and claims of virtue, we have decide societies prefers benevolence, yet repays in governance/torture rebuttal when transgressed by actions/idea. Some groups were inheritance aligned, others give this a universal inclusion. The Jewish people are mostly known for being racist extremists, yet because it’s grounded in religion, modernity allows it’s open segregation within cultures they spread into. On the other hand, Christianity is able to be applied to any who claim faith in the idea.

Honestly, this reminds me of my favorite Emo Phillips joke:

Protestants vs Catholics

Given the times, it’s kind of logical conclusion. As information changes societies, a traditional heritage that keeps social norms vs the youthful passion to discover. Old groups find it insulting to admit personal failures in accountability, new groups often just complete a cycle of becoming what they fight against.
