I know the first two responses will be

1. The Washington Post can't be trusted
   and
2. It's all the democrats fault.

Party hardliners always run this gamut every time. Republicans, democrats, doesn't matter. Point out any negative aspect about their golden boy, who is always the current mutt sitting in the White House, and that is the go to response, that source is unreliable, and then it's always the other guy's fault. Then democrats like to scream "Racist!", or "Misogynist!", or some other idiocy, and republicans will call you un-American, or say you should just leave the country if you don't like their guy.

And this is why nothing ever changes for the better. Sure Trump made all kinds of claims about how the country is doing better in all aspects than it has ever done in it's history just because he is president, but then he is a massive egotist who really has never stood in a common man's shoes. But then again most every president uses the SOTU speech to tout all the wonderful things they have, and will do. O-bomb-a let us know that just a couple of years of him being president had improved the economy so much that people on social security retirement, or disability benefits would never need another cost of living increase until another republican was elected. Another thing they both did is to claim they personally created millions of jobs for Americans. In fact pretty much every president does that, and the most of the claim is just their guys finding the best numbers game to play on the people. Like with O-bomb-a. Since fewer new claims for unemployment benefits were being made TADA!!! he created those jobs. People weren't working, his administrations just "extended" the unemployment benefits so there were no new applications which his guys claimed were people going to work even though most of the same people lived on unemployment benefits and side jobs for almost the whole 8 years he was in office. Typically, for republicans, as people run out of their benefits, and are no longer collecting unemployment the spin doctors of the GOP say this means they all got jobs.

Then we have O-bomb-a, the great leader who personally pulled the trigger that killed the most wanted terrorist of the 20th century, Osama Bin Laden, and Trump personally flew in his private jet to kill some Iranian mutt. The one way in which every elected POS matches every other POS elected to office regardless of office, or party, they never intend on meeting the campaign promises they made. Seriously folks, Trump has done nothing to "drain the swamp". Our national finances, meaning the national debt, has just got worse (and this negates all the millions he claims to have brought into the country, if you spend TRILLIONS, and only brag about a few million, yeah, that's a big FAIL).

I expect some where down the line Trump fanatics will start claiming Trump is paying for the wall out of his own pocket. I heard Trump claim the southern border is totally secure, yet he also wants to punish any city or state that promises sanctuary to illegals. But that should not be a problem since he has gone down and personally patrolled the border making sure illegals don't make it across?

I was truly hoping Trump would bring something rel, and tangible to the table politics that would get our federal government on a more decent path. As more time passes it becomes painfully obvious that in the long run he is just more of the same old.
