I had a discussion with a Kenyan a few years ago who asked me "What's all this about a wall?" I explained how we didn't want just anyone crossing into our country -- that we wanted to know who was coming in and be able to verify their identity, especially if from a country that was in total anarchy, and not just let anyone walk in who wanted to and he was totally into that concept. He said that they needed a wall too, because terrorists would cross into Kenya from South Sudan and Somalia, plant bombs, and then flee back across the border to avoid capture, so by the time I left he was VERY PRO-WALL!!!

So, he'd heard about a wall, but in a very negative light that left him wondering why the US even wanted a wall; however, he was intelligent enough to question it and to actually ask an American and get the question of why answered. I loved the fact that he now supports not only a wall in America, but for at least two of Kenya's borders.

From the Australian perspective I think you'll find Sky News more Trump friendly than most. Don't even consider our national broadcaster, The ABC. I consider myself left of center politically but I would be called a neo NAZI fascist by ABC standards. I find it politically disturbing that I can have a reasonable civil discussion with conservatives while being pilloried by the new 'woke' left.

where USA politics is concerned I don't believe there are any "news" sources in either Great Britain or Australia that are not both implicitly and explicitly anti-Trump. If there is a "conservative" leaning newspaper or cable or broadcast agency in either of those two countries I don't know who they are...BBC and CNN Great Britain along with CBS, ABC, NBC, all are clearly "left leaning" to put it mildly. So I don't exactly believe BBC reportage about American politics is ever going to deliver an objective or neutral story about our political goings on.

It's interesting that after digging up financial details of money given by the UK to the EU . More than 150 million pounds were forked over in one financial year . Germany being the only country that has donated more to the Brussels globalist scumbags . They rightfully deserve to pay the most . Germany has never been a very nice neighbour. The Brits ( other than leftist retards) must be extremely happy.

Interesting concept. I used to do that and even got an idea of what those in France thought about issues in the US. I found out that they tend to carry a single perception, (usually skewed with little context) and think they’re informed on the issue.

For instance, the issue of the 2nd amendment to most countries is a foreign concept, as they don’t understand why the 2nd amendment was ever enacted in the first place. Their culture has no 2nd amendment nor do they have a gun culture. They don’t understand that a militia isn’t just another name for a paramilitary organization paid for by taxes. They don’t understand that the framers of the constitution were concerned about the potential for tyranny should all other safeguards fail and they needed to leave the ultimate power in the hands of the people being governed. If every citizen had guns and the ability to join together against enemies, both foreign and domestic, to defend their freedom, they couldn’t be subjugated by tyranny.

When it comes to understanding a different culture’s issues, it helps to understand their culture, history and their spirit. Just my perspective.
