Has PC culture spread outside of the West?
PC / SJW / “woke” / “cancel” culture – I’m curious to know: has it spread to non-Western cultures? Or from a different angle, how do immigrants to Western cultures tend to view it?

PC culture is mostly a phenomenon of western, liberal democracies, especially the big English speaking countries like the US, The UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The shaming, call-out, cancel culture requires a high degree of personal freedom to thrive. It could simply not exist in regions like Africa, Asia, the Middle East or in most South American nations.
In western PC culture, speech and behaviour are regulated by highly organized “woke police”, whose policies are now entrenched in virtually all of our institutions.
In most of rest of the world speech and behaviour are governed different factors: respected social norms, strong family and community bonds, powerful religious influences or authoritarian governments.

Very good question.
There is no such culture in China and most of the Muslim countries I am aware of, although you may start seeing it in the more “Western Influenced” smaller oil rich countries.
Would be interesting if any one could comment about the current state in other Asian countries such as Singapore and Malaysia etc.

My worry is that “woke-think” has been institutionalized in mission statements, equity committees and diversity officers in every school and university, government body and most corporations throughout the western world.
Granted, Trump and Brexit show people are fed up with it; but for the life of me, I don’t know how this will ever be rooted out.
These Woke_Volk are being shown for the idiots they are.
IDK, fingers crossed they all walk off a cliff.

Though I’m not from a culture outside the US, I suggest you can find your answer by noting all the posts about Brexit and what’s going on in UK. You could then look at Australia.
Just a thought. I hope you get some responses from those outside the US.
