From my own experience as a father and having to deal with issues between my kids and others I know there is always another side of the story. I once had some friends that were watching my kids for me give me this story about how my daughter threatened to shoot their son with a .22. What they left out was that my daughter was simply reacting to their son's intial threat of shooting my daughter with his BB gun which could be pumped up and have the same power as a .22.
Her immdedaite comment of about cautioning people NOT to think she is making this a race issue, right after she was the one who brought up the race issue is also very suspect.
Personally I would not be surprised ifthe other boys walked away because her son made some kind of racist comment, maybe attacking the white kid hoping to establish somekind of immediate friendship with the hispanic boy because they had a common enemy.

Exactly. Just to make things worse, she has plenty of support in the comment section..She also mentions having to convince the "father" figure not to approach the parents of the other kids.
