The impeachment report is out. This will not go down in history as a stirring legal precedent. Among its more note worthy claims:

• hearsay testimony now rises to the level of evidence.

• “The question is not whether the president's conduct could have resulted from permissible motives. It is whether the president’s real reasons, the ones in his mind at the time, were legitimate.”

In other words no crime needs to be demonstrated to have been committed. All that is required is to know the president’s intent. Is Adam Schiff a precog from Minority Report?

• a quote intentionally taken out of context—“I can do whatever I want,”—referring, correctly, to The President’s power to fire the special counsel (which he did not do) is used to further build the “case” for abuse of power.

• the report quotes “scholars” such as Zephyr Teachout, who is on the advisory board of something called “Impeach Trump now” and Harvard’s Lawrence Tribe, who declared in December, 2016 that “Trump’s impeachment should begin on en Inauguration Day,” but makes no mention of testimony from this week’s Nadler farce, showing the report was written before the hearing was even convened. Nadler, too, has advocated impeachment since day one. Why was he not required to recuse himself?

• sets absurdly broad definitions of bribery and abuse of power, each of which would have applied to any president in the normal performance of his duties. Abuse of power is not mentioned in The Constitution.

• it claims that The President was obstructing Congress by appealing to the courts.

WE ALL KNOW THAT BOY DIDN’T STEAL ANY HORSES. BUT HE’S DAMN SURE GUILTY OF TRYING TO AVOID GETTING HUNG FOR IT.

Nancy Pelosi could have stopped this. She’s reprehensible, but certainly not stupid, and she has a career politician’s instinct for survival. One can only guess what the real reasons were in her mind at the time. But it doesn’t matter: this whole travesty is a crime against the nation, and she and her party will not recover from it.

I hope our country can.

I left out two important points;

• winning an election the opposing party tried to make you lose with a cheap frame up is now impeachable

• succeeding in precisely those areas where your opponents have racked up a near-century of failure is definitely impeachable, and represents possibly the biggest threat to Democratic credibility.

I simply do not understand the raw hatred that some have for him. When asked why all I ever get is he is mysgonistic, racist, etc... But not ONE person can give an example. Not one. I never thought we had to LIKE a president to let him do his job. I didn't like Obama or Bush but I have never seen such bitter hate. What I like abt Trump is that he gives them enough rope to hang themselves. The left out themselves on their bias, their racism, their hate. I would never have believed the corruption that has surfaced in our government.

There is an election coming up, short of revolution, it is the only way we have to get their attention!!!!!
I do not know how or if the PEOPLE can directly put a BILL before Congress, but TERM LIMITS is OUR ONLY HOPE!!!!!!!!!

This has been nothing more than a head hunting probe. Anything the democrats can manufacture about Trump is now considered evidence against him. Personally I do not like the man but I love what he is doing for his country. To bad our dolt of a PM doesn’t put CANADA first.
