@Jenna Agreed but any war appears unwinnable. With the majority government against the farmers, once they expropriate their land with no compensation or even relief from their debt, what could a guerilla war accomplish? Perhaps a stalemate at best, and then what kind of life would the farmers have? They are already fenced in, living day to day in fear of the inevitable. Time to liquidate their assets and emigrate while they still can. They will always rise up strong again over time, because they have the drive, planning, and organizational skills the remaining population cannot seem to master.
Rhodesia was the called the breadbasket of Africa. Zimbabwe is a basket case. Land expropriation was the cause.
