Just like the okay hand signal representing White Power because they saw this used in a movie. What? Someone lost their job because of him posing in a vacation picture using the okay hand sign? Do you know that the younger generation believe that the movie “ Roots” is a true story and part of their curriculum in some high schools. This is their history!!! These idiot teachers that receive these dumb it down degrees are passing this crap down to their students. Excuse the rant... geeeeez!!!

@FEWI I was not aware they were passing off Roots as real history. I remember when that came out. I was in junior high, had a teacher that watched a few of the episodes and really hated it. He gave us some real history of that day and age. The show was passed off as a dramatization of Alex Haley's actual family history, but I have a hard time believing there was good enough documentation of the slaves coming over that Haley could have known the actual history, hence it being a dramatization I reckon.

I could not stop laughing when I learned all the hullabaloo over the okay hand signal was a reaction to the 4chan goof. Amazing how easily duped so many people can be.

Do you know of any insulting words in existence to insult white men?
I do not know of any... is it it interesting that there is nothing you can say to insult me... even calling me pale male and stale is not an insult.

@Hanno Nothing can insult you if you are secure in your own skin. . If they take something out of context from what I said or did, that’s their problem. They need to get over themselves, the world does not revolve around them... and they do not own the patent on words or phrases that have several different meanings. I’m getting pretty tired of the BS and everybody surrendering to it.

@FEWI They certinly have words in the U. S. they hope will offend white people, redneck, hick, hillbilly. However when one knows the origins of, or the people who inspired the words it's not really that insulting. Rednecks was taken from the coal miners striking against very dangerous, rather inhumane work conditions because they wore the red handkerchiefs around their necks when they came out of the mines. Hick, and hillbilly are orginally descriptions of folks who lived in the mountains, and on ranches and farms that did not have formal schooling but still amde good lives for their families through honesty and hard work. Seeing what colleges are putting out these days, and listening to high school kids answer some simple questions about history, and the formal education is gven a real set back.

@KCSantiago The funny thing is people used to call us Cajun Coonasses thinking it would bother us. We capitalized on it by making t- shirts , bumperstickers and the like. We might talk funny but we’re not stupid. Lol!!!
