BS. Who the F is FB to "fact check" anything? This is an admission that they act as a publisher(and not merely as a platform) and should be held accountable as such under US law.
@Boardwine From my end, it looks like they are just giving you a heads up when something you post has been identified as false, satirical, or some kind of fabricated chain letter, rather than outright preventing you from posting. You've got to admit older Americans have a big problem with this sort of thing.
@WilyRickWiles oh...well that might be ok. Yes older Americans seem to get confused by "fake" news reports. I'm not on FB anymore so......last I was on there they were throwing people in FB jail for humor.
@WilyRickWiles theyve actually been censoring certain posts...I shared a left leaning article on a right leaning article that a friend posted, and they automatically censored it with the claim that it went against they're policies. Keep in mind that I directly shared this article from a post that another friend made on facebook already. So I'm not sure how it was against policy for me to post but not for someone else..
