This is why. Because everything the Democrats have done with the "Russian" collusion probe was a total lie, a con job. They did it for two reasons. One was to tie up the whole country including the feds law enforcement agencies from looking at the corruption of the Obama administration which was rampant. Two they thought to frame Trump for what they actually did. Collude with foreign governments to help elect the Democrat. So they put the country through hell. Lied 24\7 on the airwaves for three years about it. Got fully exposed. so now they get a do over on "collusion" 2.0? No freaking way! First off they colluded with the Ukrainian government to get Hillary elected. Secondly there is real corruption that they are trying to cover up by this. Exactly as they did with the Russian collusion scam for the exast same reasons.

Now on top of all of this. There isn't a law against "colluding" with a foreign government to help your election. I said this a and posted it all over social media in 2015-16. Democrat's have been colluding with foreign governments for decades to get elected. Not just that but both Clinton and Obama have been busted by the FEC taking foreign donations which is actually illegal. Since you can't throw presidents in jail for this they got fined. If Trump "colluded" with Russia. which I have my doubts about. Democrats are just angry that he beat them at their own game they have played for decades. Secondly. Russia has every right to seek to influence our elections if they think it is in their national interest. Especially in light of Obama blowing up the middle east which is a direct threat to Russian interests. If they don't have the right then what gives our nation the right to interfere in other countries elections which we do all the time. In Obama's and Bill Clintons case. Not in the best interests of the world but to its detriment.

One of my favorite political podcasters compared Trump's declarations to Idi Amin. Despite being a cold blooded murderer, Amin could be very charming and comedic. He would declare things like, "This dentist did a terrible job, it would be a shame if something happened to him." And then his followers would follow through. Not that unlike Trump.

And let's be honest, joke or not, Trump actually does want China to "investigate" Biden just like he wanted Russia to go after Hillary's emails. And the whole party is in on this. Sebastian Gorka flew with Mike Pompeo to Europe the other day to investigate "Obamagate." They are using all levers of the federal government to generate a propaganda narrative, something normally the responsibility of outside people like Steve Bannon and Peter Schweitzer. It does not matter to them whether they substantiate anything, what matters is that they twist the arm of foreign leaders to lend the appearance of third party credibility.

And it's the Republicans' fault that this happened. With the tea party wave and Trump's election and the years of nativist pandering that preceded them, they gave the keys to the outside shadow party constructed by people like the Kochs and Mercers.

Definitely worth a hearing. Put the whistleblowers in front of committee and have them testify. Trump may have something to be looked at here. A closer look is definitely warranted.
