Remember how upset Democrats were when they heard President Trump may have encouraged Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden?
In case you've been asleep for the past couple of days, they're literally calling for impeachment over this alleged revelation.
Well... Funny thing about that.
Joel Pollack reports:
Democrats wrote to the Ukrainian government in May 2018 urging it to continue investigations into President Donald Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia in the 2016 presidential campaign — collusion later found not to exist.
The demand, which came from U.S. Senators Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Dick Durbin (D-IL), and Patrick Leahy (D-VT), resurfaced Wednesday in an opinion piece written by conservative Marc Thiessen in the Washington Post.
Ironically, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) declared Tuesday that the mere possibility that President Trump had asked Ukraine to continue an investigation of former Vice President Joe Biden — even without a quid pro quo — was enough to trigger an impeachment inquiry. (Biden boasted in 2018 that he had forced Ukraine to remove its prosecutor by threatening to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid; he did not tell his audience at the Council on Foreign Relations that the prosecutor was looking into a firm on whose board his son, Hunter Biden, was serving.)

Democrats have lost all dignity and have no inkling of what shame is. They have a bloodthirst for power and will prostitute themselves out for any inch of gain. As this swamp is draining the rodents covered in a slimy mud are scurrying and shaking off the slime. It's splattering onto our culture and the media are there to lick that slime up as if it's the devil's elixir of dysphoria.

I haven't noticed any "swamp drainage" as of yet. Lots of chatter about it. Lots of rumor about it; indictments coming? haven't seen any...

@iThink Did you write this out of boredom? So many have been exposed. Both Ohrs, Brennan, Baker, Comey, McCabe, Clapper, Rosenstein, Yates, Cavilack, Hillary, Obama, Biden, Lynch, the faggot donor in LA (forget his name), Romney, Schiff, Stroczk, Page... none of these people will ever regain their reputation and history will show them corrupt. And that in itself will deter current position holders from any wrongdoing. Watch for suicides shortly. I won't be surprised if Biden is forced to bite down on that cyanide capsule any day soon. If they don't go to jail now, so what. As long as they're out of government and Trump fundamentally changes the culture of these agencies....that's the goal. Fix government corruption. Sooner or later these people will die or get arrested on crimes they have yet to commit and plea down by admitting those crimes. Did you really expect ropes cinched around necks and bodies swaying on a pay-per-view event? Trump is winning this war simply by standing in between the deep state and us patriots. I'm already satisfied that the word Democrat is a punchline and their candidates are only angstroms away from endorsing anarchy.

There is still time for indictments, especially if Durham is organizing a sting. But even absent any indictments these swamp creatures are soiled and exposed and never again of any influence in DC politics. That's all Trump promised...drain the swamp so we can see the scum. If any go to jail that's just a bonus. What's your state of contentment? Lust to see the deep staters in jail? Or that government transparency is returned so that the people have more knowledge and can keep elected officials and bureaucrats held accountable? If it's the former then your just rooting for an outcome that satisfies your own emotions rather than having a genuine interest in restoring our government to exercising power only by our consent.
