Trump strategy. We'll be seeing a lot of it. He's already got many/most here on the hook believing that the whistleblower complaint is a bunch of hearsay lies despite that the partial transcript of the call verifies accuracy.
This is akin to him saying, 'Don't believe the transcript we released, it's a lie. It doesn't mean what you read. Listen, I'll tell you what to believe.'
That's gaslighting. It's what narcissists do.

I don't know if what you see as Trump trying to force Ukraine to look into Biden's actions is really proof of anything. He didn't threaten funds or Ukraine. Trump is a businessman and he was talking to the Ukrainian president basically saying hey, could you look at this? Not a crime, not unusual. People ask others to look at alleged crimes all of the time. It isn't unethical and it isn't illegal. Find the threats and I will support a call for impeachment.
