The description is rather misleading. In conjunction with Christian activist groups, two survivors of the Pulse shooting held an anti-gay rally attended by about 100 people--who may or may not have formerly been gay--at a park two miles away from the nightclub. To emphasize, Pulse did not organize the rally and it was not held at Pulse.

I am not sure I understand the implied message here. Is there some reason than being a homosexual person is necessarily incompatible with or antithetical to being religious. Are there no homosexual people who also happen to be regularly attending religious gatherings...Christian churches and such?

@iThink It really wouldn't be that difficult to ask each of them. The hosts weren't from Pulse, so that's two down, and if you look at the photo I posted above, it wasn't exactly packed.
