@HighQ 1) They've been cutting down the Amazon for 20+ years. It's hardly the fault of a politico that's pretty new to the game. 2) The problem with climate change is twofold a) What portion of it is driven by mans activity as opposed to the cyclic nature of the climate itself? b) Let's assume that it's all mans fault(which any honest player would have to admit it isn't) what are the solutions being offered?

The left wants to crush the economy of the West, via policies such as The New Green Deal while ignoring the fact that the worlds biggest polluters are India and China neither of which has any inclination to change. The 3rd world countries need fossil fuels to build the economies and hopefully lift vast portions of humanity out of abject poverty.

The right, fearing both progressive extremism and fraudulent predictive modeling have decided that since debate of the issue is forbidden( per the usual M.O of the left) and workable realistic solutions remain elusive that they will simply ignore the problem. relying instead on future invention and innovation to solve the conundrum.

Both sides are fucking stupid. I don't know what portion of CC is mans fault, if any. But I do know that there REASONABLE steps that can be taken to avoid future pollution and clean up some of the mess we've made but the far left has to stop being CRAZY and the right has to stop being LAZY (both intellectually and industrially)

@HighQ No what I'm saying is that discussion of CC between the two "sides" is forbidden by the left. In the progressive left you are either a) A devote believer in the evils of mans destruction of the planet and purveyor of panic or b) A denier heretic that must not be allowed to voice a differing view point.

The far left has infected the Democratic Party with so much emotion, fear, and anti American diatribe, that problems can’t even be discussed, let alone solved. They just use issues as talking points for media to get votes.
Global warming is real, and it’s too big to imagine and too expensive to fix. Earths population passed its sustainable level in the 70’s.
That’s the elephant in the room.
Fortunately partisan politics is powerless anyway.
Natural forces will eliminate excess population the old fashioned, natural way.
War, disease, famine, drought, tsunamis’s, starvation, pollution, dead barren seas etc.
