The San Diego gun storage measure, even if passed which it won't, would not apply to the scenario she gives. That would be an active scenario so there'd be no expectation of storage, and responding cops (who would hate the law) wouldn't be searching for a gun storage container--no search warrant. But the fact they even tried to pass that initiative is alarming. If enforced it wouldn't be just the homeless overcrowding jails and clogging up the courts.

Then there's the swing vote coverage. Gotta agree that I'm afraid of what the US would look like under a social progressive candidate.
Then there's an issue she didn't cover because the right wants to dismiss it. I'm concerned that the deficit being driven up while our economy is doing so well is going to rebound and interest rates are going to get jacked up causing an economic crisis. Is this a somewhat artificial economic boom to be paid for in the not too distant future? Will it be like the '07 crash?
If you disagree with this last concern, why? Why during a period with such a strong economy are we driving up the deficit instead of paying it down?

Unfortunately I see little hope America will find a way out of this mess, until we have a collapse based on the debt. I just wonder how far we are from that happening.
