Government is the agency that governs and protects the rights of individuals. It doesn't necessarily protect individuals and especially is not supposed to protect groups, like feminists, women, men, political parties, itself, BLM, Antifa, the KKK, Unions, Banks, Corporations, Christians Atheists, Muslims, etc., or advocate for them, which can only be accomplished with prejudice.
If these groups infringe upon the rights of individuals, as outlined in the Bill of Rights, outside or inside their membership then they have stepped outside the bounds of the Constitution. The rights of the individual may only be relinquished by the individual himself.
Now, excuse me, I have to go get a vaccine as soon as I can find my mask.

The "right" of a transgender woman to participate in Women's sports is not a right of the individual. It would be a privilege granted by a sports authority and by other competitors agreeing it is ok for the transgender woman to drop the qualifier, "transgender" and just be categorized as everyone else - a woman. I doubt the privilege would be granted and if it were and the transgender athlete were overwhelming all the competition I'm certain it would soon be revoked.
As it stands now, it is a privilege enforced as a right by some that adversely affects others who are correctly defined as "women". The privilege is established as a right only by removal of a distinguishing qualifier (the term transgender) to the definition of woman
Hmm ... So, they are walking away from the Frankenstein's monster they themselves helped to create, now that it has gotten away from them. If they feel "politically homeless," it is their own fault for having voted consistently for what they have now been left with. As a registered Republican, I don't mind if they vote for one of our candidates, but I certainly don't want them in our party, not unless and until they actually abandon the degenerate worldview that has made such a mess of things in the first place.
