Yeah so as a “covid conspiracy theorist” i probably caught the vid. funny thing, doesn’t change my opinion. still not something to jump through hoops over making sure you are “fine” before working. if you’re sick just don’t work. sad part is i’m probably more willing to not say anytbing because the min i test and say it’s covid all the fucking lefties im friends with are gunna be like “seeeeeeeeeee…”. don't get me wrong im glad i got the first two shots cuz im in the high risk group of hospitalization and if i hadnt that could be me, but right now yeah ive got a sore throat, runny nose and feel a little fatigued but nothing worth panicking over.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Doctor friend doesn't push the COVID test. Normal home therapies for the flu are more aggressive than suggested therapies by doctors. If test positive (real or not) until recently it created all kinds of problems but offered no benefit.
I've taken more sick days than I ever did before, a day every couple months. If I feel kind of off I stay home to not spread it, just in case.
Ironically, the guy making sandwiches at Subway can't do this. (I'm highlighting the problem not suggesting a solution.)

yup. like im in that, guy making sandwiches at subway boat (sort of). im full time so i have sick days but not many. its really hurting my floor staff because im about to lose a bunch of them cuz they were around patient 0 and so they have to be out.
@Joehlert11 Restaurant is tough. About 3% profit margin and if too many people call out sick (more than 1) you're screwed.
@Penrodster yeah we have one mgr out and now 2 cashiers and we are already running on a skeleton crew. we lost our GM as well due to job neglect and stress so even frok a mgr side we can't really afford any more than one of us being out at a time. now that one other got a negative teat guess i have some ability to take a teat for safety sake but i really don't want to when it means me being out for a few days that we can't afford when i really don't feel so bad i can't work
