In all honesty I suspect underlying alignment with China to be at the root of much of this. When money talks it talks profitably with ties to China.

As far as limp dick Republican reps, you are right, nothing was ever pursued with any vigor because they too benefited profitability from both the Chinese connection and the swamp norm. As a disruptor of all these matters, Trump came with an odor NONE of them could savor.

@torontogal4388 I'm not so big on China connection, while there is influence, its not straightforward and if anything, if you read about America from the other side, from Asia, they resent America for loosing the market that they dependent on a lot and jobs. That is why now they are focused on a) getting into Europe as a new market to replace loss of American market, and b) to establish home market, so they can avoid depending on foreign policy as much.

The Marxist influence comes from universities and its by and large now a home grown ideology. Joe and hunter Biden made deals with China, but from what I can tell it was not because of ideology, but because of money. I mean they took money from Google or Facebook or Twitter just as quickly.

Ideology part is home grown by and large, the selling out America for money, is just corrupt politicians doing what they do. Speaking of corrupt politicians, republicans may have not had China deals, but they surly had various deals with American companies.

I agree, Trump came in as an outsider with his own money, and not really for political career but I think he really wants to make America great according to his vision, which seems to be non militant, free speech , free trade, good for business Americana. Even before he became president , he was the embodiment of American Dream. Now he wants to keep it alive for other Americans. Something not shared as vision by democrats, and republicans I don't think mind it either way as long as they can keep status que and continue the corrupt behind the scene dealings.

Maybe have a war going, because they make money trough the whole military industrial complex. Where congress members reward contracts to various companies like Boing or Lockheed Martin or whichever company makes war machinery or companies like Halliburton to provide services for military. In exchange off course they get jobs later in private sector where they sit on board or act as advisors and get fat paychecks or lobbyist give the legal bribe by campaign contributions etc.

So I respect Trump for taking on that mighty machinery and fighting it essentially against all odds for what he believes in. I think that is why many voted for him this time. He proved everyone they were wrong about him.

Wall Street and the Big Banks have profited greatly by both investments in companies like Alibaba, and access to the substantial population China has for sale of its goods and services as well as cheap labor to produce products to sell to the US and world markets. Wall Street has been extremely vocal on Trumps attacks on trade deals with China as they don't want to anger the sleeping giant and access to its huge markets. The other aspect of China most have not paid attention to is the Confucius Institutes located in most major universities and its influence both in promoting CPR's objectives and thought paradigms as well as easy access to influencing American politicians. Two very influential politicians who have been bought and paid for are Andrew Cuomo and Bill DiBlasio of New York. I'd seen some time ago a video showing their direct connection to China through the Confucius Institute and the ready "purchase" of their support for China's social credit system. Pisses me off I can't put a link to that information here. You can bet the Institutes have been quite busy recruiting the support of politicians throughout the country on all levels. As a "respected" body within the Universities they have had full access to influence and "encourage" cooperation and support for China's ways of population control and influence.

The Bidens are hoers and are easily bought... ergo manipulated. Ultimately this will result of more favorable trade deals as well as showing a blind eye to China's aggressions both with Taiwan as well as elsewhere. Just look at recent Chinese aggression against India, Tibet and actively building strongholds in the China Sea granting them far more control of major shipping lanes and all the countries bordering on the China Sea.

As to selling out America, politicians on both sides of the fence are quite happy to sell out to the highest bidder from any country as long as their pockets are well-lined for the pleasure of the deals. Many of the Republican Never Trumpers are just that ... pissed that he is or will expose their traitorous activities. I agree that the military industrial complex has been quite harmed by his lack of war mongering resulting in a far less profitable Administrative Term ergo people like the Bushes and their ilk are confirmed Never Trumpers.

I give Trump credit every day he's in office for his brazen attack on the ills of the "powers that be" at every level of the American Dream. I'm certain at times even he has been shocked at just how vast and diverse the rattle snake pits are. I admire his tenacity and I firmly believe he is the ultimate Patriot to whom we owe the greatest of respect. Without a second term I doubt any of this will have made much of a difference except that we, as citizens, have been awakened to the rot.

Sadly, the fact that none of his "conspiracies", as MSM is so quick to label, have actually been successfully exposed, prosecuted and punished. That is the primary reason I refer to the current Republican Senators as limp dicks -- utterly ineffective at prosecuting a single event most likely because their secrets will also be exposed. Even the Hunter laptop contents and the fact that the FBI has had full knowledge of them for almost a year now speaks to the utter rot controlling this country.

And the Bright Shining Dream of this country lies in decrepit rotting tatters.
