I don't get the meme... "Coño" is Catalán, Spanish from Spain. We don't use that in México

@A1fredo I don't know if you're being sarcastic. You really don't get the meme? It's a play on how Trump portrays himself at the best at things he knows little about and his constant pandering.

The way I interpret it, the meme came out not long after Trump said Mexico isn't sending their best, comparing immigrants to rapists, etc. His actual statement wasn't that bad, but the media blew it out of proportion. Anyway, every time he receives media backlash, he tries to demonstrate how unlike him the accusations are. So in the meme, he's trying to demonstrate his affinity for Mexican culture, knowing little about it or the language, resulting in him saying he likes it in the ass because he really doesn't know shit.

I met a lot of coños in Spain (if coño can be implied to mean cunts). I've never met such a rude, conceited bunch. On the metro, I was traveling with an American who spends six months every year in Bolivia, so she speaks fluent Spanish. Some woman starts bitching her out because she wasn't speaking proper Catalán. So, of course, I annoyed the piss out of these pricks, with my abysmal Spanish and my general existence.

I guess I missed the joke because I didn't detect "chorizo" as a rare niche word heh heh I'm sick of it here lol And... well, "coños" is not quite "cunts" -I think.- I don't know that much about Catalán, but I think it only refers to a physical cunt, but not to a bitchy cunt of a woman. Like if you told someone "wow, esa vieja es un verdadero coño," they would look at you with that "this silly lovely wealthy American" expression we do and tell you "well, she definitely has a coño, but... being a coño?" So it lacks that connotation. "Perra" is more appropiate in Spain, while "puta," "zorra," or merely "pendeja" will do in México xD

It's not me being condescending telling you your Spanish is great. It's one of the things I've learned to accept over time. Like, I make mistakes all the time and that's fine. People tell me my English is still great, and I used to feel so, so bad that even though I've lived there and shit, it still was so far away from passing as native. But that'ss gay. Like really gay. Blair White levels of gay. So as long as you can communicate what you want to say well enough, please don't be discouraged by conceptual Nazi assholes like me. I just like find fascinating the cultural differences in connotation, so I like sharing the stuff I've learned myself. Don't expect to talk like us. That would only make you lame and boring, another one of the bunch :3
