I get people’s political views change but it just amazes me that the very people who were instrumental in shifting me more right during the 2016 with their defending of Trump don’t even grasp the false the false equivalencies in their arguments towards conservatives now. I mean i’ll give them some leeway as the scenarios they are pointing out aren’t so obviously different, they do have to actually understand what the other side’s position but they were on the other side.

If a dem were in power and pokice were using the firce they are we’d be screaming “police state”
@Joehlert11 No conservatives are or have been engaging in violent protests, blocking streets, or burning down buildings. No one loots target stores for a conservative cause. Some conservatives have blocked abortion clinics, but they don't hit people going into the clinics. They don't jump on the cars of people trying to pull into the parking lots. They don't vandalize those cars. When people have tried to bomb abortion clinics, conservatives have turned against those people.
I wouldn't support the government using power to stop peaceful protest on either side. However, I support vigorous use of force to stop rioters, looters, vandals, and those who won't let regular people go about their regular lives.
