I disagree that this plays into the hands of the control freaks. I see the population rising up against the Left's criticism of President Trump's handling of the event, including many in the Democrat leadership. This will raise the discomfort in the population in the concept of a One World Government. And I have no problem with caution until we know for sure. We are getting there. One day there will be a really bad bug. This one is turning out to be not so scary. I think order will return soon in the US. Can't say for Canada.

The real danger for Canada is that the Trudeau led communist power structure that is already in control, will not relinquish all of the emergency powers it has granted itself.
VERY SUSPECT that this is happening before the Demo-Lemming convention of out of the closet SOCIALIST. Desperation because they could not bring down TRUMP 2020 in a coup and propaganda storm.

it is beyond any semblance of logic and common sense to think that the Democrats worked or plotted with the Communist Chinese Party in deliberately releasing a biological contagion in order to do what...embarrass Trump? or perhaps to somehow help the Democrats in our 2020 general election?

@iThink Excellent points brother. I agree with all of your examples except FDR. He probably did know, and while he was mulling around, the Japanese struck. The attack played into his biases, because he favored declaring war, but being politically astute, knew declaring war would be fought by Congress - basically disabling a war effort - a mistake Lyndon Johnson would make with VietNam.
