When he first started talking I thought he was from far eastern Canada, my wife is, and when she gets on a roll, she talks like Alistair.

I was trying to place his accent too... being originally a Sassenach myself, even though he uses very English cursing vernacular it almost has a little scots sound to it but with a little twang (my description for the American accent, lol) so I think you are right and I second the vote for Canadian.
Hello. I can see where he is coming from. He would be taken more seriously if he didn't swear so much... Tommy Robinson doesn't swear in his videos.

On Tommy, you are right. Do you not think it strange then, that he is judged most harshly based on his class, accent and perceptions of his background even though he keeps from cursing and displays a high level of intelligence. Am just curious for your view ?
The British are class-conscious, generally speaking, so it would not be strange that TR is judged by his class, accent or perceptions of his background, or anyone for that matter. Don't you normally manage to get a fairly good idea about someone based on those factors? But at the end of the day, how well you present yourself matters, in my opinion, especially if you want your views to be taken seriously. Hence, TR has millions of supporters who are mostly ordinary decent people - they can relate themselves to him. It is however also true that TR is a divisive figure because what he stands for - as you know, he is a single-issue man.
