People act as if they had rights even when they have lost the war. Whatever is left of the conservative movement it is now an insurgency that will have to work within the enemy camp. Not all the decedents have been silenced, there are still people like Clarence Thomas in the institutions. Evidence that there is a limit at the moment to what the left is willing to do to have complete control. Conservatives will have to take advantage of those limits.
The left worked in the shadows for generations and eventually was able to more or less take over most of the institutions. It turns out that McCarthy and Nixon were right. To keep power you have to purge leftists from every institution. Now that they are in power the same tactics they deployed will have to be adopted by conservatives.
In the minds of people on the left Jan 6 was an insurrection. We now can see what happens to people who openly revolt against the lefts grip on power. Political dissidents will be jail if their is the slightest hint of justification. What the left can't do is lock up half or more of the population. They can only intimidate them to keep them in check.
The conservative insurgency needs to act like insurgents not as reactionaries. That means being realistic about what they can and cannot get away with while they quietly work against the system.
