I think its not about democrats or republicans, or left or right or even goverment itself, its the people who run the uni party, they have the real power. They don't care about dem or republican, or any of that. They care about power and their ideologies to the extent they are not only for the profit in it. So really weather its braindead, senile Biden or even dumber Harris, does it really change the way regime is operating. Not really. Its just there for show. Its important not to get distracted by it, because it changes nothing of importance. Kamala, Joe, or whomever, the people behind them will continue with their schema. There is the political class and special interest groups and intelligence service that are doing their thing. Weather they put on display one fool or another, pretending to be public servant, changes very little. After all, none of them are outsiders to actually make any difference. Only outsider was Trump who stumbled on presidency opening, and they censured, de platformed and smeared him and than made sure he didn't win second time. Did anything change in policies, not really. Only thing that they were forced to do is take down their mask and stop with the pretense.

Even after all the twitter files and everything, including laptop from hell and endless other evidence, did Joe had any consequences, nope. Only when they wanted him to. So, if they put Kamala or get some moron of the street to do it, it won't matter much for the overall implementation of policies.

It's not like communism or socialism have a history of longevity. Even monarchic dynasties don't last. Jefferson was clearly aware of the history when he said the tree of liberty has to be refreshed with the blood of patriots from time to time.

There is some uni party controlling Biden and Harris and scheming in the background no matter who is in power, but somehow Trump was noble and uncorrupted and not a puppet and really did want to fight against this. Give me a break. I do agree with your point, to be clear, as the government isn't run for the people but rather for corporations and the uber-wealthy - we live in a plutocracy and a kleptocracy - but it's laughable to think that Trump wasn't just more of the same. Keep thinking the east-coast New York elite uber wealthy man who grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth, went to an Ivy League university, liked to adorn his house in gold, never paid his workers, and never really worked a day in his life, was somehow a blue-collar working man warrior who gave one iota of a shit about middle class and poor people.

The Twitter files were a big fat pile of nothing. The laptop was a big fat pile of nothing. You could ask yourself the same questions about Trump - with everything that happened, has he faced any consequences? Oh but everything on him is just a false flag and planted evidence and yada yada yada. Sure.

I suppose so. I mean it’s obvious now that in 2016, Brexit and Trump was a surprise in otherwise controlled system that got too complacent in their own controlling power, and they made sure it does not happen second time by blatantly cheating. If they can't cheat next time they will either make voting illegal, assassinate the candidate or give an illusion of choice, by having all candidates working already for the regime.

All this has happened in the past. Voting was made illegal for some. Cheating was always there to larger or smaller extent, but in 2020 and in midterms last year it was blatantly regime change type operation they perfected in other countries. JFK was assassinated so that is not out of the question and we have seen for years one-party pretending they are not.

The other way is to say, this is what liberal democracy is always mean to be. The more it becomes itself the more obvious the problems inherent to that kind of idea when put in practice.

It will devolve into interpretation of the Constitution. Constitutionally, the only person with the power to classify and declassify documents in the Federal government without need to refer or defer to anyone else is the President of the United States. At the time Trump took documents to Mar-A-Lago he was the sitting president. At the time Buy-den stole documents he was only vice president.

@Krunoslav, @FuzzyMarineVet classified information has devolved into nothing more than a cloak of darkness for the golem called government. It is time to abolish it. The biggest threat is internal. All the external threats are manufactured by the very same government.

@jasonc65 If you abolish the goverment, assuming you are in a position to do so, and position remains elusive to me at the moment, but hypothetically lets say for the sake of argument, you abolish the government. What do you replace it with?

@Krunoslav I meant, abolish the concept of classified information. It is a cover of darkness for deep state criminals. A world without classified information would be safer. The external enemies know the government's plans already, because they are their proxies.

@jasonc65 You have a point about that threat. But there are still things that need to be kept secret from people who would do us harm. Instead of abolishing the classified document paradigm, I think we need to strip the clearances of anyone who has operated in violation of their oath of office or against the interests of the people of the United States.

@wolfhnd you don't think it is an adult conversation to ask why MAGA Republicans dismissed all of the concern over Trump having boxes full of classified documents, where he knew he had them and told people to take them to Florida, he lied about having them, he claimed to have returned them even when he didn't, and he refused to give them up for months until the FBI finally raided him, he then continued to lie and had even more stashed, he made up excuses like he could just think to himself that they were declassified and they would be fine despite, etc etc etc.... yet they are all gung ho about treason when Biden found classified documents he didn't realize he had and immediate called the authorities and handed them over and continued to check for more, which he also returned immediately.

It's so laughable even Fox News is turning on Trump, and Karl Rove is appropriately showing how ridiculous the comparison is.

A good analogy I read was that if Biden and Trump were both shopping. Biden walked out and the buzzer went off, he realized he had mistakenly failed to pay for an item in his cart, and he went back in and returned it. Trumped stuffed items in his pockets and tried to leave, and when the buzzer went off he ran to his car and peeled out.
