2301091800M THE GIFT OF AFFECTUAL (to interact with) SPEAKING?

Perhaps you can help me with my ineptitude as I can’t find the perfect word for the proficient speaking gift Doctor Peterson so aptly demonstrates? It seems to me that he’s managed to lay claim a sweet spot that resides somewhere between ‘affect’ and ‘affective’ yet well distanced from ‘effect’ or ‘effective’ -- an unassuming sweet spot best described as an ability to ‘interact with’ without “exerting influence on” his audience?

This is in no way a criticism of Doctor Peterson or any anything regarding him. Quite the opposite, it’s a compliment as I could listen to him endlessly. To illustrate what I’m trying to point out is my inclination in the last sentence to say ‘learn from him’ rather than “listen to him” which I suspect would irritate him to no end? I suspect that Doctor Peterson, knowing full well the perimeters of the sweet spot he strives for, would prefer I said ‘learn with him.’

Doctor Peterson is also gifted with that one characteristic that accompanied all the powerful men that I’ve encountered in my life such as it is -- the gift of unpretentiousness. This too is a compliment.

‘Affectual’ is purely a concoction of my own making [for which I apologies] to try distinguishing the good professor's well garnered speaking talent – he speaks with and not to his audience. I have to wonder if it would be easier to understand if we were talking about a ball player?

However you interpret this post, Doctor Peterson is THE {definite article} ‘affectual’ speaker of out time – I know of no other. While he doesn’t understand the value of MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way) individualist philosophy of life, none-the-less he is more than worth taking an opportunity to learn with at any chance occasioned.

On the outset of this video the assertion that speech is indistinguishable from thought. I’d like to posit that it’s actually deeper than that, just as a contribution. Speech and thought are so inextricably connected as to represent one and the same thing. The west really does need to learn how important speech is in controlling thought. The socialists have understood the importance free speech is to a free society with free thought since forever it seems.

The next thing out-a-the-shute is the corrupting effect power has and how absolute power corrupts absolutely. As the good doctor stated, it’s not a good idea to trust anyone that doesn’t recognize a power and authority superior to their own. The most important writing of our founding fathers is the second paragraph of our Declaration of Independence. I would submit that the entire American experiment in Self-Rule is encapsulated within that one paragraph.

PS1. Malevolence in the world is actually proof that GOD exists if you care to think about it. How’s that you say? Well, if malevolence exists does it not follow that good must also exist – and as Jesus stated “…. there is none good but one, that is, God.” {Mark 10:18}

PS2. We Americans have a Constitutional Republic and not a Democracy because democracy is inherently evil without superior restraint(s) such as our Constitution. Socialists recognize and understand a pure restrained democracy as a weakness they can exploit for power. Look, if three people are standing on a corner somewhere decide to take a vote amongst themselves to attack and rob one of their group. Well, they set about their crime democratically did they not? Well, that’s democracy, and why the United states is a Constitutional Republic.

PS3. “Why fore I no hear” (as the old pirate said) censorship of free speech on the largest of all speech platforms – the platform women without contention control, their platform of pillow-talk? Think of it. All the uninterrupted access women have to the ear of their husbands alone in the dark of night. Just a thought.
