Other issues aside, isn't it strange for Harvard to take the position that college students have a duty to be likable, confident, and kind?

It is strange in that universities had long been havens for the prickly, the neurotic, the cantankerous and the introverted. Not like the customer-service industry where perpetual smiles and cheerfulness are job requirements!
However, a personality score is so arbitrary that it makes a useful pretext for a university to systematically dock Asians points and award blacks points if that's what the university aims to do.
@sqeptiq You just said it - a pretext. And the goal, at least to those at their top heirarchy, is to bring the entire society down through rot from within. They've been at this even from before WW2. They are a multi-generationally patient lot.
Who would propose, plan and perpetuate a University management system embedded with discrimination as a means of their practices? I looked up the list of their directors and chief administrators. I got my answer. I looked up their list of key donors and got affirmation
