Gender affirming treatment is typically cosmetic for people that present with gender dysphoria – identifying with the gender associated with the opposite biological sex than they?

One might say that it’s a person’s proclivity to the gender generally associated with their opposite biological sex?

Gender cosmetic affirming treatment it to ease the gender dysphoric person’s suffering – not cure the mental disorder?

And if so, the only question that might be raised is whether or not ‘gender dysphoria’ is a mental disorder or not, and whether it’s appropriate to treat a mental physically and/or at what age?

Irregardless, as with any cosmetic treatment it would appear obvious that such things shouldn’t be done prior to the patients age of consent to such life altering treatments?
