‘LOTR: The Rings of Power’: How Amazon Screwed themselves and helped their competition!
No matter what they may say in public, “The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power” is not the hit Amazon needed it to be. Not only that, it is losing traction to HBO’s Game of Thrones spinoff, House of the Dragon. That is ironic, and a twist of fate.
To do that, @AndreEinherjar will first look into the decision that lead to their Lord of the Rings Failing, how their quest for a Game of Thrones backfired, and how they in the process ended up helping HBO!

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Well, I certainly feel less and less of a proclivity towards Hollywood in general as this decent continues. Amazon attached to the name makes it feel even more slimy. I wonder if there are others like me? The start to alternative media is promising though. Another couple years and we'll be getting a lot of quality content made for normal people, by sane people. In the meantime, podcasts and reading can fill the gap.
