If one reads history, at the betting of the last century, one can see more clearly what is happening at the beginning of this century. It seems that it takes about a century or less before we go down the same path. Same patterns. Maybe the Hindus and other civilizations were more closer to truth when they saw passage of time in relations to human civilization as circular, rather than linear.

I suppose we are in Kali Yuga

The Kali Yuga, in Hinduism, is the fourth of the four yugas in a Yuga Cycle described as the worst and believed to be the present age, full of conflict and sin. Kali Yuga is preceded by Dvapara Yuga of the current cycle and followed by Satya Yuga of the next cycle. Hindus believe that human civilization degenerates spiritually during the Kali Yuga.

Hinduism often symbolically represents morality (dharma) as an Indian bull. In Satya Yuga, the first stage of development, the bull has four legs, which is reduced by one in each age that follows. By the age of Kali, morality is reduced to only a quarter of that of the golden age, so that the bull of Dharma has only one leg.

Instead of New World Order, euphemism for global one world government, controlled by mainly western elites, we are getting old world order. East vs West. Except this time, the East is rising and West is declining.

The Eric Schmidtt post about Biden DOJ...unprecedented ~ I would say no.

The Clintons did much worse in the 1990s. Vince Foster. Whitewater. Lots of other incidents. Pierce Creek Church took out a full page anti-Clinton ad in a newspaper and got the IRS sent to them from Hillary, and the judge in the case was a Clinton appointee.

Waco & the Weaver Incident at Ruby Ridge is another prime example. Not to mention/forget that it all lead to the retaliation of the Oklahoma City Federal Courthouse bombing and somehow 15 children were killed there, I think it was. Always reminded me of the Palestinians using children as human shields.

need to update the timeline on the 'never forget meme' it is almost 30 years ago, and I think Mr. Weaver passed away earlier this year.

I think the unprecedented angle he mentioned was do to how one sided it is and the scale of it and the open, blatant methods that are clear to see. Outside of maybe American Civil War itself, I don't think we have ever seen such one sided, open scale attack on one group of Americans by another group. There were as you pointed out many individual incidents, and localized incidents, but at this scale, in this manner, this openly and aggressively, and one sided... other than civil war, I think it is unprecedented, but off course during civil war, war was fought in a way that had more honor and dignity and it was more clearly than what we see now. What we see now, is common in various regimes since the French Revolution, most notably off course the communists regimes and Nazis, and to some extent the Fascists in Italy, but it was not the case in America where there was attempt to pretend in the past, that it was still democratic society, and that rule of law existed. Clearly that is not the case in USA anymore and unless Republicans do everything they can to restore Rule of Law and fix elections in a good way, this is a prelude to civil war as well as economic collapse of epic proportions.

To expand on this I'll share stuff I shared in another post.

Paul Joseph Watson: The Truth About the FBI Raid On Trump. Will Republicans do anything?

The Duran Trump raid, Biden DOJ crosses the Rubicon w/Robert Barnes (Live)

Viva Taco Tuesday! Trump RAIDED! Banana Republic Lawyers! Pelosi Gaffe? AND MORE!

@Krunoslav Thanks for the insight. And the YT vids. I had just seen a Dinesh Dsouza YAF clip on FB and it dealt with students who did not even know they were fascists but calling everyone else one. he used the black shirt brown shirt analogy of Italy & the Nazis and the similarity of the shouting down and disrupting events of intellectual discussion.

On another twist of the thicken plot.....I remembered the Clintons took furniture from the White House when they left in 2001 and Hillary was forced into returning it. Much like being subpoenaed to testify, as she refused to do so voluntarily.

So if they are going to press charges on Trump for something, it might take awhile since the Clintons have a long, long criminal record of grievous acts unrepudiated. (Just being sarcastic πŸ˜‰ or trying to be)

Actually, I think it is a desperation move of the left. Trying to instigate a reaction so they can impose martial law, since it failed on the other attempts. Their own forecast projections indicate a red tsunami is coming.

Then you have new laws being hurriedly passed to control gun owners because the old totalitarian laws were struck down as unconstitutional recently. Tacitus, made the claim, "The more numerous the laws, the more corrupt the state."

So....Tacitus had an observation of that as well. Tacitus lamented the demise of the liberties of the old Republic and the rise of emperors of dubious character. β€œLust of absolute power is more burning than all the passions,” he wrote.

Were you aware of the massive amount of ammunition purchased by the IRS this year alone?

@Weltansicht Tacitus, made the claim, "The more numerous the laws, the more corrupt the state."

How true.

β€œA nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”

– Marcus Tullius Cicero (Source)

But thanks to reader D. N. (see comments), it turns out that azquotes.com is not correct about this quote…. – Oxford Essential Quotations (5 ed.)

Taylor Caldwell 1900–85
English-born American writer

Cicero found himself frequently confounded by Antonius. Antonius heartily agreed with him that the budget should be balanced, that the Treasury should be refilled, that public debt should be reduced, that the arrogance of the generals should be tempered and controlled, that assistance to foreign lands should be be curtailed lest Rome became bankrupt, that the mobs should be forced to work and not depend on government for subsistence, and that prudence and frugality should be put into practice as soon as possible.

usually wrongly attributed to Cicero following Congressional Record 25 April 1968, in the form β€˜The budget should be balanced, the treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome should become bankrupt, the mobs should be forced to work and not depend on government for subsistence’. However the passage is not found in Cicero’s works and appears to derive from this historical novel based on his life

Laws are like sausages, it is better not to see them being made.
Otto von Bismarck, Prussian statesman (1815-1898)

β€œGood people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly, while bad people will find a way around the laws.”
― Plato

When men are pure, laws are useless; when men are corrupt, laws are broken.
β€”Benjamin Disraeli (1804–1881)

β€œRoman laws tended to be long and complex - one of Rome's most enduring legacies to the world is cumbersome and tortuous legal prose.”
― Adrian Goldsworthy, Caesar: Life Of A Colossus

β€œThe United States is a nation of laws: badly written and randomly enforced. - ”Frank Zappa

β€œSociety needs laws. While anarchy can often turn a humdrum weekend into something unforgettable, eventually the mob must be kept from stealing the conch and killing Piggy. And while it would be nice if that "something" was simple human decency, anybody who has witnessed the "50% Off Wedding Dress Sale" at Filene's Basement knows we need a backup planβ€”preferably in writing. On the other hand, too many laws can result in outright tyranny, particularly if one of those laws is "Kneel before Zod." Somewhere between these two extremes lies the legislative sweet-spot that produces just the right amount of laws for a well-adjusted societyβ€”more than zero, less than fascism.” ― Jon Stewart, America (The Book): A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction

@Weltansicht "Were you aware of the massive amount of ammunition purchased by the IRS this year alone?"

I have herd about it, but have not looked deeper into it. Off course they also passed the inflation bill to inflate the IRS bureaucracy some more with hiring of some 80 + thousands of new parasites. They are up to no good, that's for sure.

@Krunoslav well the IRS has had an inventory for years, there are armed agents obviously. Just the recent purchase raised eyebrows I guess. I didn't think much of it except for the amount the government donated to the Taliban πŸ˜‰ They have to have target practice and be competent vs some of the crooks. Stockpiling 5 million rounds....I dunno. Then the new bureaucrats 87,000 is what i have heard.

If you break it down to comprehensible numbers:
80,000 agents and say 320,000,000 taxpayers for simplicity, then its
80 for 320,000
8 for 32,000
1 for 4,000

4,000 numbered cases over 50 weeks lets say...
400 files for 5 weeks
80 numbered taxpayers a week
20 a day over 4 days
5 investigations a day per new agent

of course this does not count the existing apparatus already in place

and it does take into account the people with social security numbers who do not contribute anything but as a dependent on someone else's tax return

@Weltansicht Interesting. I bet Joe "I'm a Vegetable " BIden's administration will say, see job growth is now 80 K. lol

@Weltansicht Nothing to see here…

@WokeSocieties πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

@Krunoslav @Krunoslav I tried to find out what kind of guns they have but did find this. SO...I am assuming they have 9mm government standard issue, usually Glock for some reason, sometimes Beretta....but whatever.

5,000 guns 5,000,000 rounds
5 to 5,000
1 to 1,000 rounds @

I am very willing to bet the magazine ammo clips EXCEED what the gun control advocates want for the rest of us

Job growth & 'booming' economy growth and we escaped the recession of the previous 2 quarters lol

@Weltansicht You don't build an army unless you are expecting war. And this army is not made to fight the Russians or Chinese. Its made to fight Americans. I imagine that attempted to confiscate guns was so that when civil war starts, they are the only ones with guns. I know that IRS was sued in major class action suit during Obama era , when Obama Administration used IRS to spy one everyone and force everyone to disclose medical records, who they donated money etc. So its like a giant web of information that can be weaponized. Who has what medical condition ,who's son is on drug rehab who's wife had a miscarriage etc.

"The weaponization of Biden's DOJ against political enemies is unprecedented"

No, it is precedented. Just look at the former president. Remember "lock her up"?

On another note, does that mean you all are for defunding the police now?

What about...what about..what about...Trump?

Don't worry, Jackson....the Democrats will eventually get to you.

"When the Nazi's came for the Jews..I did nothing because I was not a...you know...the thing.

Jackson I know you are not smart, but this time you have outdone yourself.

@FrankZeleniuk you once again announce that you do not understand whataboutism.

Pointing out a lie is not whataboutism. I guess you don't understand the difference.

You also incorrectly assume I am a Democrat.

Yet while I am sitting here growing old waiting for the Democrats to get me at some point in the distant future, the Republicans are actively attacking me. The Republican candidate for Governor in my state came out saying Jews and Atheists are not welcome.

@JacksonNought Oh....I understand "whataboutism" alright....and I also understand precedence...which you tried to equate to some Trump campaign rallying cry - not some DOJ/FBI special operation to raid Hillary's home. Instead they bent over backwards to give her a pass. As a matter of fact, in my opinion, Eric Holder and Barry Soeterro were granted get out of jail free cards as well.
