2207151100F THE NEXUS AT WHICH PHYSIOLOGICAL RESTRAINT BECOMES TORTURE?

For whatever reason Youtube’s algorithm determined that I’d be interested in videos reporting abuse of human rights by policing officers? And glory be there sure is a lot of it happening!

In times past it was understood that impairment of individual freedom is likewise impairment of an individual suspects liberty. Any physical restraint(s), such as handcuffs is just such an impairment of ones liberty, and therefore is an arrest – regardless of sophist attempts to say otherwise.

Any physiological restraint(s), such as handcuffs, laying on the ground like a trained animal, or obvious restrictive seating arrangement(s) in the back seats of police cruisers can only be attributed to deliberate human rights violations?

Anything that interferes with, and/or constrains, the normal physiology of a human being is beyond a shadow of doubt demeaning torture. George Floyd was just such a violation of human rights by the obvious constraint of his physiology to the point of death – he was murdered by torture.

A simple look at historical tortures by constraint make it abundantly clear that policing conduct has long since slipped over into abusive torment? I tend to think that an improper shift took place in societies’ collective mind when policing officers became ‘law enforcement officers’ instead of ‘ peace officers. Words have catastrophic affect on perception(s) of what they mean.

This misinformed idea that a patrol officer’s actions are the responsibility of their superior officer indemnify them for criminal prosecution is more than just false. With individual sovereignty comes individual accountability (responsibility) just as it exists for all citizens.

I’m sure that Nazi concentration camp guards thought themselves indemnified from prosecution – right up till they fund themselves backed up against a wall facing a firing squad? One of Dr. Peterson’s lessons he tried to teach his students was that given the authority (the power) they’d do precisely the same as those Nazi guards did. Power and authority corrupts the human psyche so fast they never have time to even notice their own personal diseased moral status.

Policing officers are not some sort of occupying force with citizens being the enemy.
